I am new in the United States and so afraid what I am going to do. I wanna be a nurse. I want to work in the Healthcare industry but I do not know where to begin. So my friend told me about this school and how friendly and cool the teacher ( I miss you, teacher Lorna)… She helped me and my classmates understand everything from Theory to Clinical. She won’t stop until you learned. So when the State exam comes you know what you’re going to do. Once you have dedication of what you are doing, trust me you will pass the State exam. By the way, we all passed the State exam and that was the most amazing feeling after all the sacrifices we did.

My experienced as a student of Serenity Nursing school was a great one. The classroom where we initially had classes and practiced skills was very home like and was very comfortable setting to be in. The instructor, Ms. Lorna, was very nice and very accommodating to every student. She provided snacks and was very giving as an instructor. She is someone who is a model nurse and she decided to help us all from the beginning steps.
I am on my way to become an RN at the moment and I am happy that I am a CNA and I learned from this school. I will also probably come back here when I get the renewal of my BLS certification.
I highly recommend coming here to anyone who either wants to become a person in the medical field or even if you have no clue of what you want to become, this will help narrow your options.

For the greater part of my adult life I had worked in an office offering customer service. However, I had always been fascinated by healthcare and admired nurses for the sacrifice they make in treating persons back to health. I wanted to get a feel of what was required and decided to scout out for the available nursing schools. I came across many and even visited their locations to see their school facility. Serenity Nursing School was very impressive. I was captivated by the professional layout of he classroom and safe location.
Miss Lorna was very patient and accommodative. She took me through the steps in registration and it was smooth sailing then on. The information presented to us students was clear and easy to understand. Practical/Clinical days were fun yet informative. I enjoyed my weekend classes and alas, I passed the CNA exam at the first try.

Miss Lorna is a woman with a heart of gold and a dream to educate future nurses, which could be felt throughout your program. Her passion bleeds into every lesson and she truly takes the time to get to know each and everyone of her students and tries to accommodate their individual learning styles. She sets you up for success in a way that I imagine is very difficult to find in a less personal programs. If I wasn’t sure that I wanted to be a nurse before going through her CNA Certification Program, I absolutely do now.

It is a process n tough decision to make; on when, and where to go to school, considering work schedules.
But i tell you,
a few days at serenity i didnt think otherwise of what i wanted to do in life. I realised it was the best decision i ever made and the best place i could ever choose to venture into the health sector.
The Facilitators (Trs) are wonderful people, they take you into real life situations. CNA becomes so easy when you have the right facilitators. Whether you live far, are financially constrained, or struggling with work schedules serenity NS is the place to go. Ms Lorna makes it possible for everyone…she is a mother figure! Very passionate about creating the best CNAs in the land.
She quickly understands everyones strengths n weaknesses n will give you her whole time to get you ready for the exam (within 5weeks).
I will recommend SNS canoga to who ever is passionate about nursing . Look no further.
This Nursing School is the best. Personally, I have been pushing the CNA School because I wasn’t able to be financially and physically able but this school gives you the best for your money. It is almost seems unfair because you get more than what you pay for. She gives you materials and knowledge beyond CNA basic knowledge. This school gives you experience of in work and how to pass the state exam. The owner and president is very understand! She helps you stay accountable but also cares for all her students. The community here pushes everyone to work as a team and becoming a family. Your time will not be wasted and you will have the ability do other things with your time. I SUPER SUGGEST THAT YOU DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH OTHER SCHOOLS because like I said, you get more than what it takes from me, don’t push this school/ course next month! JUST DO IT ! You will be surprised how fast time goes and your ability to pick up materials. Good luck and I hope you decide for this location.
My experience with Serenity Nursing School was amazing. Being single mom of 5 kids with school and work, I managed to complete this program. I learned a lot from classmates and Miss Lorna. They all motivated me to to push forward and helped me with what I needed help without judging me. Miss Lorna is the best teacher and she is very understanding. Thank you for everything. This was possibly the best instruction I’ve ever received. The kind where real world instruction, you get tutored beyond what you are learning, and then instruction comes from the big heart of a great, passionate, tough love mothering instructor. Ms. Lorna is an excellent teacher.

I decided to take this class so that I can start working in hospitals while getting my BSN and it was the best decision. I have learned so much while I am at this program. Ms. Lorna knows what she is doing and she will prepare you for your future as a CNA and some basic RN. On top of that she spoils us with food. She wants to make sure we are happy and helps out in our situations. I have never had a teacher that goes beyond for their students. She gives you all the materials to succeed.
This school is absolutely amazing! Ms. Lorna is an absolute sweetheart that loves her job and tells us awesome stories. She prepared us very well. and gives us so many connections. It is also obvious that the quality of the education at this school is higher at other places. She teaches us information beyond what we need to know as a CNA.
At first I was afraid of entering with little to no knowledge of nursing and what will await me. The first day of class , I automatically felt welcome by the students and my teacher. Our instructor Ms. Lorna really makes this institution what it is. Her dedication to her students, and her passion for nursing was apparent throughout the period of the class. She would often put in the extra effort, holding extra study sessions, or staying with students after hours to ensure everyone understood the material. She was also very attentive to the CDPH guidelines for the covid-19 safety measures and adjusted the classes accordingly, putting the safety of her students first. I highly recommend Serenity Nursing School for all future caregivers/healthcare workers.

Miss Lorna is an amazing teacher! She is very sweet, kind and funny. A great bonus is she is sympathetic to her students; she will do everything she can to help her students understand the material before the “big state board exam.” She is strict but she prepares you well. I tried to find good CNA program in the valley and this school was the first one that popped up on my search. I was a bit skeptical whether to do the program here since it was new and that there were little reviews on the school. However, the school is legit (I checked the CDPH website to confirm). In the program, she taught us how to demonstrate professionalism when taking our exam (skills) which is also a plus since it prepared us how to act in our future career. I have learned so much from Miss Lorna and I highly recommend this school to anyone in interested in becoming a CNA. BTW: The location is convenient and there’s always plenty of parking spaces.

I am truly lucky to find this establishment open during the pandemic. If you’re looking to become a CNA or still trying to figure out if the medical field is right for you, try this program first at this location . Miss Lorna is patient and welcomes any questions/concern. The class will go by fast, so it’s important that you also do your part to succeed in this course during the short time frame. Miss Lorna is also taking the right precautions during this pandemic meaning classes are held on Zoom and during Clinical we are divided into 2 groups. The groups have specific dates to go to school, when we are in school, she checks temperature and we are all separated. I will like to add that Miss Lorna goes above and beyond for her students. Speaking from experience, she is very supportive and she prepares you and makes sure you understand the material before taking the board exam. Thank you, Ms. Lorna for making this new journey enjoyable and fun. I appreciate you and your time.
